Parent/teacher interviews will be held on February 28, 2018. There are appointments available in the afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00pm, and evening from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
To book an interview with your son/daughter’s teachers please go to
http://danforthcti.schoolappointments.com/ and follow these steps:
- Fill out the registration information and click “Register now”
- Click “Add a student”
- Enter your son/daughter’s name and click “insert” (after step 6, click “insert new” if you have more than one son/daughter at Danforth).
- Click the calendar icon and then highlight the teachers you wish to see
- Click on “view calendars”
- Book appointments
The last date and time to book online is 11:00 pm, February 27th.

2018-19 applications are still open for the Minister’s Student Advisory Council
Students in grades 7 – 12 at publicly funded schools are eligible to apply.
The application form is available at ontario.ca/speakup.
The Minister’s Student Advisory Council (MSAC) is a group of approximately 60 students who come from publicly funded schools across Ontario.
Members share their ideas and advice with the Minister of Education
on a variety of topics about our publicly funded education system.
The council celebrates student diversity and seeks all perspectives and experiences.

Minister’s Student Advisory Council
All students participating in the Holiday Show are reminded of the dress rehearsal taking place next week on Tuesday December 19th during Periods 1 & 2 in the auditorium.
All performers are reminded to speak to their period 1 and 2 teachers prior to Tuesday regarding any missed work.
Students are also reminded to please check their school email regularly to ensure they are informed of any changes.

Come hear songs by everyone from Bruno Mars and Drake, to holiday classics, along with drama performances of favourite stories and original works at our Holiday Show! You can also see art displays from our talented students, and purchase items from our tech students at the marketplace. It all happens on Thursday, December 21st. The marketplace starts at 6 and the concert at 7. Everyone welcome!

We have nearly 200 students involved in our upcoming Holiday Marketplace and Show, and we’d love you to have you there! Please bring family and friends to see the art on display, purchase items from our tech students, enjoy some treats, and fill up the auditorium for music and drama performances!

Wednesday night was Grade 8 Parent Night and we had a tremendous turnout of eager parents and students keen to learn about all the great things Danforth has to offer. A huge thank you to all the student and staff volunteers that made tonight such a success, and to all of guests tonight, we look forward to welcoming you into the Danforth family in September 2018!
Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute would like to invite all parents of Grade 8 students interested in attending our school next year to our annual Information Night this coming Wednesday December 6, 2017.
There will be coffee, tea and snacks prepared by our hospitality students in the front foyer starting at 6:30 pm. School departments will also have displays and staff to answer questions prior to the start of our official program at 7:15 in the auditorium.
Following the auditorium presentation parents will be invited to attend a series of guided tours aimed at giving prospective students and their families a chance to see some of the incredible programs and facilities at DCTI.
